Truck got a workout last weekend
I don't know how much this load weighed, but it was more than a half ton. There is a bunch of scrap metal under the large oak tree branches.

Re: Truck got a workout last weekend
Tom, I think it's the angle, it is hard to tell from the pic, but the truck is sitting on a hill. It slopes down toward the passenger side. I should have taken a pic from that side. The old stovebolt didn't have any trouble going though! 3.73 gears and a TH400 might have something to do with that... There is something in the bed of this truck almost daily. Maybe not a heavy load like in these pics but it's used as a truck. I hope to be able to park it this fall and begin the restoration process in earnest. I have been gathering parts for a while and am eager to get started. It's been my daily transportation since I bought it 12 years ago and the Northern Indiana winters have taken their toll on it. I will have another vehicle to drive soon so the old girl will finally get what she has been needing for a long time. Sorry for the ramble. EVERYONE FEEL FREE TO POST PICS OF YOUR TRUCK WORKING AS WELL!!
