TBI help and direction

Ok b4 it gets said, I tried to do a search and no luck. Might have something to do with server change over thingy.

Where can I get good info on rebuilding a TBI unit and also source for the injectors or better injectors. Is there a vendor I could send it to? Not sure why, but the mechanics I know, don't know much about TBI. Standard fuel injection is no problem, diesel is no problem, TBI gets head scratches and a lot of I don't know looks. I would think it to be simpler than modern fuel injection but there answer is always junk it and install a carb. Might be what some do but I am more interested in fixing what I got. Any help I s appreciated.

Re: TBI help and direction

Do you mean rebuild the throttle body? They have kits at the parts store, even easier than a carb to rebuild.

Re: TBI help and direction

Rebuilding a throttle body is stupid easy. Easier than any carburetor, including a lawn mower carburetor. Kits are readily available. It's just a few screws to take apart, clean everything, replace gaskets and o rings and reassemble. .
