Does a wider rally wheel exist?

Is there a "factory" 15" x anything wider than 8" rally wheel? I want to put a set of 50 series on my 8" wheels, but not sure if that would look right, or even if they will fit? I have 275/50/15 on the back which have a lower profile than the 245/60/15 on the front.......I was thinking perhaps the 50 series on the 8" wheel might "balloon" the tires, thereby appearing slightly taller than they actually are.....any one with experience in this area?
I currently have these tires on American Racing wheels, which will eventually make way for the rally's that I have sitting in my shop.

Re: Does a wider rally wheel exist?

OK....so here is another question.....has anyone ever had a stock 8" modified to a wider wheel? I have this idea in my head of what I want it to look like, and I think that is the only way, assuming there is not an original....I guess just strait up buying them aftermarket is probably the way to go....any ideas or hearing about previous experience is appreciated,
Thanks

Your stock Rallys can be widened to whatever width and backspacing you want at Broad Wheels in Oneonta, Alabama. They build a lot of the NASCAR wheels.

LOL that's true, and i do need the ice, we have had one of the best summers here where I live (they are all good) with temperatures of 30 degress plus celcius since end of June....that is in the 85-95 farenheight range....
The real bonus living here is, in the winter I can play hockey in my swimming pool!

114 a wheel plus 65 bucks to ship them each! Plus don't forget the little 25 bucks brokerage fee they tack on each when they arrive. And there shipping is an estimate.
Best way is just double the cost for each and you'll be real close.

Re: Does a wider rally wheel exist?

If you want to widen your rally's then call these Canucks!
If they can't do it then they'll likely tell you who can.
