15x10 rallys & white letter tires

I've got the vintiques series 37 rallys, now I need to decide on tires. I like white letters.......post what you're running on yours. Leaning to Mastercraft Avengers, but might go another route. Wish they still made Goodyear Eagle STs! I have a friend with his own tire shop, so I'll get a good deal on whatever I decide to go with.

Re: 15x10 rallys & white letter tires

I was always a BFG guy when I was messing with the T/A's and Z28's. I'll buy the cooper cobra's from now on though. Got tired of washing the lettering on the bfg's. I was told it had something to do with the seepage from the tire staining the lettering. I never a problem like that on the coopers.

Those look really nice. Those are the exact rims and derby caps I have. What size are those tires? I'm thinking 275/60R15 on back and 245/60R15 on front 15 x 8s.

I like those tires! Meaty! How will those fit on my truck? My truck won't be lowered. Actually, it's my dad's truck and we're getting it ready to give to my son. He's turning 14 in October. Dad says he's gonna give it to him, but still keep the truck at his house and keep driving it until he turns 16. I have no problem with that. Grandson gets to drive it around with Papaw.....making memories!

I'm gonna post some pictures just as soon as I get it back in shape.

Really? I don't want the skinny up front, fat in the back look.....not too too noticeable. The truck has some 235/70R15 white letter Primewells on it now, about 80% tread, but the white letters are dingey dirty looking and won't whiten up. I was figuring on taking off the tired original GMC rally's & Primewell tires and going back fresh and clean. I suppose I could get two wider 275/60R15 Primewells for the rear.

Anyone got suggestions on whitening dirty white letters. Wesley Bleche White won't clean them up, I have scrubbed and scrubbed on them. Dad bought them and figured they would come clean and whiten up, but they didn't.
