RPM Air Gap
Is anyone running this intake? I'd like to order a 5" air cleaner but I don't know if I'll have the clearance. The engine isn't in the truck yet, so I can't check it myself.

Small block? Big block? What carb and will it allow for a drop base air cleaner style? ... Your guess is as good as mine.

I have one on my small block 406 with a 2" spacer and Holley 675cfm and Eddy triangular K-N type air filter. Not sure if this will help as my engine is 2" forward now. Fender wells are still not installed yet so I could remove the air filter and get a measurement for you...

Are you gonna use it in the winter or colder months. If so your motor will run like crap with a cold intake until it gets up to full operating temperature.

Yeah it should fit no prob. I have ran 6" air cleaners with Performer RPM. Just use a drop base and you'll be fine.

I used an offset bottom to move the air cleaner forward to clear the firewall.
