What were you thinking?

On this craigstlist add it says there is no body damage. Well last time I checked the tailgate is part of the truck so I say it counts as the body. Just love people sometimes.

Re: What were you thinking?

Not only does it have a cannon fire hole in the tailgate, but it also has a fold-under behind the right rear tire. Oh well... the price seems right

Re: What were you thinking?

Not to mention that the body panels on the front clip all seem to be misaligned, which would make me really suspicious.

Re: What were you thinking?

Body looks pretty clean to me. No it's not perfect, but it's 40 years old and priced to sell.

Re: What were you thinking?

It also looks like it's had a large selection of mirrors, then removed...

Re: What were you thinking?

Looks like a decent truck for the money...plus they will finance it for you.

Re: What were you thinking?

It's not considered damage if you out the hole there on purpose! Right?

Re: What were you thinking?

Maybe I am seeing things but that truck looks like a "Custom Camper/20" to me. I could be wrong. It looks like late model 20 series hub caps also.

Re: What were you thinking?

pffft... thats nothing for mirror holes... I swear someone changed mirrors on my truck every 5 to 10 years and never fixed the holes.

That hole in the tailgate is crazy. I just want to know the story behind that

Re: What were you thinking?

That hole is what happens when the farmer's daughter sneaks out of the house to see you at night, and the farmer finds out...

Brings the song by Derks Bentley to mind:

"Her Daddy came out wavin' that twelve gauge
We tore out the drive he peppered my tailgate
What was I thinkin'"
