72SWB 4x4 that just got a new alternator, voltage regulator, belts, etc. The alternator removed was an internal alternator that was wired with a jumper wire from one wire to the other. Garbage!
I put the new accessories listed above on the truck and it rode fine until the engine just died! I cranked on it and truck wouldn't start. Took clip out of alternator and she fired right up. Is this a grounding issue? Bad harness? Any suggestions here? Thanks in advance Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Alternator problems?
Got it. HEI wire wasn't properly on and ground wire wasn't grounded. Also replaced fusible link. She is running
