Suburban gas tank
anybody ever used the gas tank out of a suburban that goes between the frame in the rear, i got the complete donor burb so all parts will be available. i'm just wonderin about being able to gas door location work out on my 84.

never mind. i looked at it today and its like ten foot long 40 gal. tank, way to big to fit.

i use one on my truck and it fit fine . i use a 87 model tank . on the fullsize forum had a step by step way to do it .

it's a 40 gallon tank. i didn't do any measuring, but just looking it doesn't look like it will fit. are the burbs the same length from rear axle to bumper as truck, now that i think about it it seems they are aren't they? guess i'll do some measuring and see for sure. but it sure does look big under there.

mine was square . it came of a 84 burb . it was in the back of the burb ffactory
