New Paint on my 72

Hey everyone,

I got some new paint on the truck. It's a nice bright orange matte finish. A year and a half ago I sent my truck to a guy to have a base clear paint job done. During that time I ended up getting engaged to my now wife. By my choice not her's the truck got put on the back burner so to speak, as many of you know weddings are not cheap lol... I decided to have him straighten the truck out and fit some new sheet metal. This is a rust free truck it just had some dents and dings and getting that 8 foot box straight is not an easy task!!! The guy that was doing the work is a body man by day and he was working on my truck when he got spare time. We discussed it and decided that instead of just primer that he could spray a nice matte finish on my truck until some day he could do a nice shiny base clear show finish when I had the money saved up. He said he could save a lot on paint and other costs....well once he got it done and I have it back now....I am not sure that a shiny paint job is in the near future because I am really enjoying the fact that it is different and it catches a lot of attention!!! Here are a few pictures the day I brought it home... I LOVE IT and thought I would share

I really like the wheels also...I am glad that I went with the gray center instead of all polished aluminum. I think it really matches the look I wanted!!

That is a cool looking paint job. The stance and wheels really set it off. Congratulations!
