Radiator for '63 C50?
Anyone know a good source for a radiator for a '63 C50? I have relative that uses one for a water well rig, and he just blew the radiator. Cost matters in this instance.

What size motor?
I use a champion aluminum radiator made for our trucks. I got mine from Reliable radiator and they are warrantied for life. not expensive either.

I vote for the Champion, you can paint it or leave it shiney!

Re: Radiator for '63 C50?
The C50 will have a much larger radiator than a light duty truck. I am not aware of a source to get one like the factory one. You may have to get an aftermarket or original radiator for a '60-'62 C10-30. With the I6 it should cool just fine unless you are working it real hard. Another soruce for a radiator that will work is the '67 and earlier Chevelle, Malibu, Impala, Caprice

Re: Radiator for '63 C50?
we make bolt-in radiators for the 63-66 Chevy trucks, not sure if the C50 would be the same size or mounting. here is a link to them on our site:
http://www.rndfabrication.com/C10early.html Let me know if you think it might work. It's made to be a bolt-in direct fit swap, no cutting / welding / modifying. |

Re: Radiator for '63 C50?
I use Speedway radiators, just need to make an upper bracket and something for it to sit on the bottom. The radiator costs $129 and work great

Re: Radiator for '63 C50?
As I said above, the radiators for the C40 and bigger trucks are bigger than the radiators for the C10-30's. They are about half again the size and mount directly to the radiator support. There are no lower and upper cradles for the radiator to sit in.
