cheyenne AND cheyenne super on the spid...
Interesting SPID on an ebay truck (not mine) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-...d76109a9#v4-41
we've discussed this somewheres along the line before, but note that it has both YE9 and Z84 listed as trim options. Interesting, but proof of it for you spid fanatics... (like me). Looks to have all the Super trim except the bright tailgate handle cover (72 slip-on). Anyway, enjoy. |

Super early 72 St.Louis, sure I'd buy that.
Have a double trim level on 2S103108, Z84 & YE9. While 2S104048 is just YE9.

Re: cheyenne AND cheyenne super on the spid...
Those are just standard build equipment lines that more correctly belong on a broadcast/build sheet. Early 72 St.Louis SPIDs were a mess as they changed over to the numeric exception codes from letters then drawn out as they sorted assignments. If you look it also has the base tires listed, four times. Did some research on it about a year ago and the details are a little hazy this morning. If you have them on a SPID I really wouldn't worry about them as they are just a plant variation.

Quote:
If optional tires were ordered they were by the axle pair front or rear. Then an optional spare or bare wheel could or would need to be specified be as well depending on the selection. Some tires were offered in full sets of five on one RPO code or line, these were generally white stripe tires.
