brothers chrome bumpers...

Anyone running a set on there ride?? I just ordered a pair of chrome ones for my 69 c10,they actually are on sale right now.

My bumpers didnt match when I got the truck, and I added some new wheels so I thought theyd go together plus the truck really wont have any chrome besides the rims /bumpers
Leaving the rest of the original exterior /interior in place for the most part
Ill get some more pics after the lowering kit is finished being installed, and the bumpers/wheels/tires are mounted.

Re: brothers chrome bumpers...

I have both front and rear chrome bumpers from Brothers. They fit great. I think most of them come from the same manufacturer, in a generic box with "made in Taiwan" stamped on it.

Re: brothers chrome bumpers...

I have that same old worn out farm step bumper. I'm going to buy the one from Brothers while it is on sale. I had Bruceman do his photoshop magic so I could see what it would look like on my truck before I decided to do anything

Thanks for the pic mister b, nice truck .
Seeing that rear shot makes me feel like it was money well spent. Big upgrade in appearance for sure.

I'm running Brothers chrome sport bumpers. Great fit & finish. They are a counterpart product.

Thanks. Yeah, I agree. I think the chrome one will look better. I have the factory chrome one on the front, so it'll match. Here's how it currently looks. It's not bad, and I've gotten more mileage out of it by painting it metallic, but I want it gone. I also don't like how it covers a third of my newly acquired vintage license plates

Re: brothers chrome bumpers...

I had never seen that vintage plate, really digging it!
Just one of those small details that make it more unique.
Definitely will look good on the new bumper since itll not be blocked at all
That is probably why the previous owner of mine mustve decided to stick the plate on the left hand side.

I think my original plates are rough ill have to try and clean them up a bit

Hey, thanks. I'm very pleased with it. From what I gather, it isn't a big deal to get California vintage plates

Here's a front shot

Plate looks great and the front bumper looks good too. Looks much better than my painted front bumper.

I have bought numerous bumpers from "Brothers" as far as repops go, you can't beat them.

Lol. The chrome rear bumper won't keep me from using it as a truck anymore than the front one does

Re: brothers chrome bumpers...

Bumpers arrived, pics dont do them justice, great quality, and great customer service on brothers end.
Very glad I pulled the trigger on them, them being on sale was a bonus.

I will take more pics once they are mounted

Looks great. So, was your old rear bumper cemented on? How did you get it off?

Re: brothers chrome bumpers...

Well , dumb me I didnt glance under the rear bumper when I took it off (did this months back, the day the truck got to my house after purchasing) didnt see that on that end the brackets were welded to the inside of the farm bumper, as opposed to the other end of the brackets that bolted to the frame.
So I had brothers ship out the rear bumper bracket kit.
Not pictured I grabbed the license plate box/lamp assembly.

Old bumper came off easy, getting the factory spare tire mounted underneath off was more of a pain
