how important is it to clock your grease zerks

I've always been told and always followed the rule that states whe installing u joints in a drive shaft to clock the grease zerks 180* off eachother. Is it a myth of an integral part of driveline harmonics?

No...most heavy trucks have them lined up so you can do them all at once.

You may be thinking of u joint phasing on multi piece driveshafts
