This is a set of lowering brackets for 1973 thru 1987 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton truck, Suburban and full size Jimmy and Blazer. Hey there. I doubt they will. I would think the axle tubes on the one ton are a lot larger diameter than the 1/2 ton trucks. Thanks, Fred.

What else is needed for this swap? Are new u-bolts needed? I am not real familiar with this leaf suspension. My buddy just got an 83 truck so now I get to learn.

Flip kit installed this past weekend. everything that could go wrong with the install did go wrong including the parts chaser car broke down and the tow truck i used to chase the parts chaser broke down. what a LONG weekend.

rear is flip kit only.
front is 3 inch bell tech spindles and 1 coil cut from each spring.

photo above is day after drop. truck has settled easily another 2 inches since last weekend. almost un-drivable. rear is bottomed out on shocks and front tires rub fenderwells when confronted with the smallest pebble in the road. I have a little more work to do before i beat my kidneys up. but this flip kit is basic, simple to install and a fantastic solution to an otherwise expensive or pita route.

That looks a little lower than most of the others I have seen that used our brackets.

Brackets worked great. Then when I went to the front I broke the locking lug tool. So I have a buddy with the Matco kit coming tomorrow to get the lugs off. I will update with the front done as soon as I can. I don't know if this site does seller feedback but I would not hesitate to do business with you again. Thanks Dave.

Yeah, I do not understand why either. it is as low as my last one which had 2 inch blocks between the axle and the flip kit.

This is the main reason why i am leaning towards the 3/4 ton springs in the rear. a little stiffer ride and maybe a little extra height out of them.

i do believe i got a little over zealous with the fronts tho. live and learn.
