Can I skip the crank pulley & connect directly to water pump for AC belt connection?

I don't think the water pump bearings would hold up.

Gm made a lot of pulleys that are made to add they fit like a glove I put power steering and air conditioning on my 67 I searched and found pulleys that fit PERFECT ! Just look around on this site on ebay or junkyards they are out there ,,,,

Pics are not great but you can see mine in this thread pulleys are 3 deep if I add any more accesories to my truck they will have to be electric lol

It would not work. All the load would be on the belt driving the water pump. It would squeal & burn up in short time.
