I just might make that one. It started in Brooks moved to Salem for couple of years and now back to Brooks. Do you have address,/location so we can look up route on Mapquest? Also big car show and cruise in Springfield that day/night. Might be busy day!! Would like to see informal Oregon Washington board member meetup Mid-morning.

Brooks is maybe 5 North of Salem. I think there is only one exit. I'll be driving the 69 SWB, easy to spot as the cab is green and the bed is silver. It will be nice to meet up with some NW board members.

The event was just GMC/Chev trucks for many years. It is now open to all cars/trucks made by GM.

Damn weddings...I made previos plans to go to a wedding that day....oh well. Who knows if my truck will even be back together by then! lol These bags are taking forever and I'm still waiting for all my stuff to show up. If I'm lucky though maybe it will be drivable by this saturday (crossing fingers). Just my $0.02 but theres a sweet cruise-in every saturday nite here in Salem at the Blue-Moon Cafe on Lancaster Dr.

I've got to go to a wedding that afternoon. I went to this show a few years ago and was disappointed. It's more of a semi-truck type show rather than hot-rods.

I think brad may be refering to the show that the Antique Historcial Truck Society holds at the Antique Powerland Museum in late August in Brooks. That show is about 100% classic Semi-Trucks. My dad has a 55' Freightliner that he takes up there. Tee other show on the 19th however I'm not sure about that one? I'm assuming its mostly hotrods/trucks?
Adios- Kenny

July 19th
I'm almost certain this is the same one the had down in Salem at the State fairgrounds. The attedance and show participants got a little light compared to the costs so it went back to Brooks. A few yrs ago it was just trucks. I think it was/is sponsered by local Salem Truck club, does anyone know of a member of this group? It would be an EXCELLENT place to meet our board members and recruit new members. This show has a lot of potential. 2 yrs ago it had at least 60+ trucks. Does anyone have address and map to get to Brooks site?

If I'm not mistaken...this might be the GM Haulers Truck Club show that they put on. I remember a couple years back going to it on a Saturday with my dad down at the fairgrounds. I run into a few of those guys down at the weekly cruise-in but I dont know any of them by name...good luck...I'll try and look them up and see what I can find.

The truck show on the 19th sounds interesting. What's the cost? What about the one in McMinnville? I might be able to go in the morning up until early afternoon.
