Gauges and bezels
What would you do? I need a new set of gauges with a metal bezel. I have a new chrome Ididit steering column so I would like something that would match it. And which color and brand of gauges.

Re: Gauges and bezels
I really like the VHX by Dakota Digital. They are electronically driven with analog displays, and have a lot of add modules to add some nice features. These will fit right into a stock bezel, but sure they can be adapted to a aluminum panel.

Re: Gauges and bezels
I like the dakota digital gauges, I went a different route myself with a polished dash and had autometer swap the benzels on my gauges.

Re: Gauges and bezels
they are autometer ultra lite 2, and I sent them back and had them swap the bezels for black. the dash is from a board member, Ryan Hubbard.
Have a safe flight. business or pleasure?

Re: Gauges and bezels
Wed night is the cajon car cruise on main street in el cajon about 30 mins from dt san diego (8 east to main street east) only thing car and truck related i know of still going on. Tour the uss midway in downtown. seaport villiage is a big touristy spot in downtown. the boardwalk in PB (pacific beach) if you want to cruise the water area.
Slaters 50/50 for a burger and beer in point loma (50%bacon 50% beef) lots of beer on tap. if I wasn't swamped with trying to move in 3 weeks I would say lets meet up. those are just a few ideas I can think of off the top of my head.

Bet you enjoyed that. Bring raised in San Diego, I didn't ... Lol... The Chargers are famous for losing season openers at home. I think they just like to start the year off right and let their fans know they don't have to worry, nothing has changed!

Re: Gauges and bezels
I'm redoing my 1970 GMC stepside, and I did get the Dakota VHX gages. I couldn't fine anyone that makes a billet gage bezel until I came across Javier at J & J Engineering. (909)585-2252 I explained to him what I needed and he redid the bezel that he makes to work with the VHX gages and did an outstanding job. I wouldn't have a problem recommending him to anyone. I feel Javier went above and be-on to be sure him customers are happy. Thanks Again Javier. Al
