visors

School me on a visor for my '53 3100. I see ads in places saying "visor for 50s car or truck", things such as this. Will a "typical" Fulton (or Fulton-type) visor fit a car/truck, etc. Or does it have to be specific to the year/model/car/truck etc.?? Thanks for all replies.

Re: visors

Not all will work. A car visor won't fit properly. For your year you want the same one I have. It should look like this. You will see that it has the center clamp for the wind shield divider trim. You can run the 54-55 visor if you want but its not as nice looking on a split windshield in my opinion.

This link is for OEM Visors (Fulton & Guide)

This is Big Jims in Texas, lots of examples of different visors.

I use a 49-50 Cadillac Visor with home made side brackets to make it fit

Re: visors

Here is one on a '51 suburban, lot of fitting and bending to get it to fit just right.

Re: visors

Here is the one I'm using. I have to rework the mounting flange a little due to the chop changing the angle. I had a similar one on my '52 panel years ago and it bolted right on.

Personal preference, I like this style better than the one with the arm on the side.

Re: visors

Here's mine. Don't know what it was original on. A little adjustment needed. Mounts to the jamb
