Temp. Gauge Fitting

I am sure someone already told me about the 12mm X 1.5 to 1/8" pipe adapter.
This in the passenger head at the rear of #8 cylinder, remove bolt & replace.

I have the package in front of me with the Auto Meter part number #AM2277, just thought I would pass it on.

Now I am looking for a sender that is "close" to reading in the center of the gauge at normal temp. for my 78 Silverado

Re: Temp. Gauge Fitting

There was a thread with all of this info floating around a couple months back. Try doing some searching. Autometer does make a sender, I can't remember the # of it though. It puts my stock gauge at straight up/down around 220.

Re: Temp. Gauge Fitting

I saw the thread as well. It is the replacement autometer sender. I am almost sure it is part # 2259. I bought one, but it was a couple of months ago now.
