4 Speedwarning Gauge Clusters & NOS Parts

This is a complete package deal
I have 4 speedwarning clusters. 2 on right hand side all gauges & speedwarning speedometer work perfectly. 2 clusters on left need to be restored or speedwarning parts can be removed for use with a different clusters. All are in the original metal cases so they all have the studs on back to connect the wiring harness to fuse block & buzzer. 1 Cluster has the rare 67-=68 Fawn dash bezel. 1 working original truck speedwarning buzzer comes with the set along with 8 NOS speedwarning bezel face nuts & 8 NOS speedwarning cable rubber knobs.
Not looking to sell these separate, someone else can purchase to part out as I left plenty of room for profit if parting out. Will include if I can find it a idiot light dash speedwarning cluster for free.
$750.00 + $37.00 insured shipping in the continental USA.
Payment through PayPal to GMCPauls@ GMCPauls.com

Thanks I thought I was giving a rather good deal with so many speedwarnings, plus a working buzzer + 8each of the NOS knobs & nuts that are no longer available. Last working buzzer I saw sell was $140.00 and those nuts and knobs bring $10-$15ea

Re: 4 Speedwarning Gauge Clusters & NOS Parts

Lot of questions on these. 1 does all the speed warning needles move and 2 has the buzzer been tested because I have run into many of them that did not work. 3 did you find the idiot light dash (5th one) I would like to be first inline depending on the answers to these questions.

Thanks PT

PT I'm sure needle moves on the 2 really nice ones, and I'm sure that the needle moves on 1 of the others not sure if the 4th one was moving though and buzzer was tested a few days ago and definitely still works. Will look for the idiot light one tonight if I get back from PTA at the school for my grandson in time if not I'll check tomorrow evening. I'll also examine the other 2 speedwarnings that are not pristine to check condition inside and out. But I can guarantee everything's working on the 2 on the right in picture.

Re: 4 Speedwarning Gauge Clusters & NOS Parts

I took the 2 untested ones apart and the 1 on top left the needle turns, cable is good, all gears have all teeth, and correct wire is present inside with good insulation on it and ends, metal stud on back has insulator rings present under it on inside and outside.
1 on bottom right the cable where it enters crimped end at dash is split so if you turn knob cable sits still as knob rotates if you grasp cable it does rotate the pointer ( could use JB Weld or similar inserted in crimped in then press cable back in and crimp it tight till the jb weld sets at that would probably fix this but new repro car ones are available for around $30-$35 on ebay that could be swapped in ) the inside on this one again all gears have all teeth, the wire is present and has the correct connector end on it but the wire insulation is worn off about 1/2 of it and the other half is thin, stud is on back in good condition with insulator rings present under it. So some love on the cable & wire are needed on that one the other gauges are in fair to good condition in both clusters. I've looked for the idiot light one and can't find it so I can not include it. I do have a extra 69-72 gauge cluster in good condition and a temp & amp gauge with their backing plate you can have also with the speedwarnings if you want as I'm trying to clear out all my extras I really don't need.

Paul-

Does the fawn bezel have the original paint or has it been repainted? Also, I can't quite tell from the picture - is it solid fawn or does it have a different trim color?

Thanks!

Jerry

Re: 4 Speedwarning Gauge Clusters & NOS Parts

Hey Paul I have been eying a truck and bought it today so I am going to pass for now. I have a 02 Z71 Tahoe that I am going to sell and if it sells soon the I will get them if know one else speaks for them. That was my only hold up is that I knew I was going to look at this truck today and it was to good of a deal to pass up. If the Tahoe sells quick them I will buy the clusters from you.

Re: 4 Speedwarning Gauge Clusters & NOS Parts

Paul- If you decide to split these up at all, I would be interested in 1 of the "untested" clusters. I figured I'd wait a week to see if they all sold, and then I'd ask. If not, no problem and good luck with the sale!

I would consider the other untested one if it is decided to split them up. Of course this will depend on the price.

Would it be against board rules for us 4 interested parties to be PM'ing each other and sorting this out amongst ourselves?

Re: 4 Speedwarning Gauge Clusters & NOS Parts

Wow sorry guys the last post I was aware had been made on this thread was the one by PT. So I must have missed the board email to me notifying me that LeddZepp had posted then I received a email tonight with Tbone64's last post. I have no problem with you all working something out amongst you to split this package up as long as everything ends up being spoken for. I had thought the thread had just died off and had recently looked at all of them thinking well I guess I should put them back up for another 10 years or so which I was hating to do cause I was trying to reduce my unintentional hoarding of parts I've done through the years and it had already been 10 years + since any of these had been out of storage here.
Thanks for the heads up T-Bone your post made it to me.

Good to hear from you Paul and I for one am still interested in at least one of the clusters.

I hope that the others are also. I will get in line where ever it works but hope for the best one you have. I know that Scott had dibs in before myself.

I guess I will wait and see if this gets some interest sparked back up.

Thank you,
Tom

Paul, we will take the complete package as pictured and also the standard 69-72 gauge cluster that you offered in post #10. After nearly two months of being up F/S, I am totally shocked that this speed warning package never sold, had thought that everything sold back in September and then we were away from computers & civilization for 23 of the 31 days in October, and then to just came across the thread again it must be meant to be. The funds have been sent via paypal to the above payment id. Thank you, Mel.

Thanks Mel, they are out at my ginseng farm in the pole barn but I'll swing by their later today so we get them all packaged up and shipped. They'll either leave here today or Monday at very latest Fed-Ex insured and I'll be sure to email the tracking info for them when they leave. Have a really nice weekend!!
