flowmasters anyone?

well, ive got a bit of money saved, and im thinking of getting a flowmaster muffler 40 or 50 series. on jegs.com they say that it adds 20hp and 42lb of tourqe. well i dont know about how correct their ratings are. but does anyone have any comments on what series sounds the best. it will be going on a somewhat modded 305..with stock pipe. thanks in advance

this board is split, half like Flows, while the other half like Aerochambers. There are still a few who like glass packs, but they don't count!

I say go with Aerochambes, according to those who have them they flow AND sound better...cheaper too. Thats what I am getting.

Talking

It's about 45/55, with the "Young Bucks" liking the Flowmasters and the "Mature Bulls" favoring the AeroChambers.

This may not matter in your situation, but I have flowmaster mufflers, NOT 40's, 2.25" duals and it sounds incredible. Now for more horsepower....
