Gasket?
There was a gasket between my old power booster and master cylinder, i got a new setup previously and the auto parts store didn't say i needed one then and there wasn't one in ether box so I called and they said it wasn't necessary and if i wanted one i'd have to make one.
I understand there is nothing to seal, i'm probably more concerned about affecting the throw of the lever or possibly vibration. Tho's who have the know, is a gasket necessary at all?

Re: Gasket?
I have never had a gasket between the master cylinder and brake booster on my trucks, fwiw. I do not know if there is supposed to be one there, but I suspect not.

Re: Gasket?
^Me neither -and I've replaced several on these old trucks. Personally, I would prefer not to have one there. If the m.c. piston seal were to start leaking, you wouldn't notice it as quickly.
