Cab mounts
I bought some poly cab mounts from LMC. My truck is a 69 gmc c15, the frame is from a 71 c10. 2 of my mounts are slightly thicker then the others. Does anyone know which ones sit on the front verses the rear?

Re: Cab mounts
Oh geeze man, I just went through that today!
Now I don't know a lot about anything, and I haven't even finished replacing mine, but I have read on here that the polyurethane ones make for a "rocky ride" and that the rubber softens things a bit. Now that said, someone might could post you a pic of the original CHASSIS MANUAL for these trucks, because they did so for me. I actually own the book but had forgotten I owned it! If need be, PM me your address and I'll copy the page and mail it to you. |

Re: Cab mounts
Just google "cab mounts c10 pic" and click on images. Halfway down on the first page is a pic of front and rear cab mounts and how they should be installed. I tried to put the pic on the thread but can't figure it out on my wife's iPad.
