72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

For Sale 72 Jimmy Body and Rolling 2wd Frame
This has got to go

The frame has been converted to 2wd using all 72 model 5 lug disc components.
The tub is a factory A/C tub. I searched and searched for a good body to do a body swap after I drug home a terrible blazer body so I know what is valuable in these bodies. This one was by far the best I could find. The pictures don't do it justice. If it was blasted and all one color it would look better. The passenger side does need inner and outer rocker but the boxes are very solid. The driver side could potentially need an outer rocker but its boxes are very solid. The body is in overall great shape not needing months of rust repair. The windshield frame is not pitted with rust like most of these are. I do have a clear Oklahoma title for this being registered as a 72 Jimmy. I hate to see this project go but its time. I am wiling to consider any reasonable offer. I have $800 in it.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

Need to mention that I also have a double wall top and a complete 4x4 blazer chassis. It has a 10 bolt front axle, 12 bolt rear and a 350/350/203 drivetrain setup. I would sell as a package or individually.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

I'll trade for a 1968 short step with a COPO concept 427!!!!
Honestly, I don't have an asking price. Just looking to get a fair price. I paid 2500 for the 4x4 blazer and everything body wise but the hood and double wall top ended up being junk. I bought the Jimmy to do the tub swap because the 4wd blazer had a good frame and drivetrain. As we all know life changes and other things have come up. I just need to get these projects into somebody's hands that can make time for them. I'm willing to consider all reasonable offers as a package deal or individual.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

I may sell the tailgate separately. Shipping won't be cheap because of the weight. Ill see if I can work up a shipping quote.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

What would you have to have for the body tub? Would you take $800 for it? How about an 03 Honda CR85RB! Fresh top end and tires and it really hauls.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

I would take 800 for the tub and frame only. Not interested in any trades at this time though.

Yes, the frame still has the leafs in the rear. I've got a rear coil suspension. I had planned on using it to convert from the leafs.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

I am very interested in this thing, and no I would not want the coils in fact if the frame is pretty solid in the rear I would probably use that frame instead of mine because it is pretty rusty. Can you send some pictures on the rear frame area?

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

Actually after looking at the photobucket pictures again I can see that it is alot cleaner that mine. Whats the chances that you still have the spring hangars and stuff for the front? As I said I am not really interested in the five lug 2wd stuff. I am wondering about getting it home. Glove box door and title? Do you remember which transfer case was in it?

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

1125 miles, 16 hours one way! Let me think this completely through! I'm sure that I won't find one in this condition on the rust coast! I may have to put a deposit on it, give me a day or two.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

Mark you may be interested to know that I have a complete 4wd chassis as well that is in as equally good condition. It's a 10 bolt front and 12 bolt rear. I no longer have the spring hangers for the other chassis but I do have a clean title for the tub. I'd have to check on the glove box door but I'm thinking I don't have the original one. Just let me know what you want to do.

Re: 72 Blazer/Jimmy Project For Sale

Actually I have every thing I need and then some to put it together, I have always had the parts truck which was not savable in the first place. So really I would have been interested in the body tub and the frame its sitting on now.
