Re: Buddy Bucket stock style vinyl seat covers
Which year? '67 style is available all over and '68s need to be made custom.

Re: Buddy Bucket stock style vinyl seat covers
The seats are '68 but my truck is '72 so it really doesn't matter. Just wanted buckets but the 3rd seat too.

I used these folks and was very pleased. Great price, quality and service. They even made some matching door panels that look really great w/the seat. Give 'em a try!

Re: Buddy Bucket stock style vinyl seat covers
Got to find some seat foam too. Going to get the frame disassembled & powder coated. Just picked these up yesterday out of a old utility truck & the foam was pretty hammered.

Re: Buddy Bucket stock style vinyl seat covers
I've seen a lot of later trucks with Buddy Buckets have custom made upholstery made using materials and pattern from that year/trim level truck they went in. That's what I like to see...or a custom style in a custom truck. My '67 truck has '68 Buckets and I talked to Truckseats about a custom idea. He said no problem

Re: Buddy Bucket stock style vinyl seat covers
Craigslist is a good place to find them, they normally won't be listed as buddy buckets, you just have to search various stuff to find them. Found these searching 67 & 68 chevy trucks that are pretty much parts trucks then I txt'd the seller to see if he would just sell the seats.

Re: Buddy Bucket stock style vinyl seat covers
I had Truck Seats do my Buddy Buckets, and they turned out AWESOME!!! The best stitching and fitment that you could ask for. I also bought the door panels, headliner and bottom door panels for them. I have a Green truck, which makes it hard to find the correct color of vinyl. I was in contact with them and he sent me some samples of green colored vinyl. None of it matched, so I went to a fabric store and found what I needed. We discussed how I wanted them stitched up, he told me how many yards of material to buy, I then sent it to him and he did the seats and other panels. I think the pictures speak for themselves.
You can also see the seat covers after they finished stitching them prior to them sending them to me, on the thread started by "Truckseats", titled "Truckseats Photobook", page 4, post 92.
