How many splines on 72 steering gear input shaft?
Bought this ujoint off of a member on here and it was supposed to work on factory box. It says it is for 30 spline shafts but when I count the splines on the shaft I count 32. Am I counting correctly or is this u joint really supposed to work?

Re: How many splines on 72 steering gear input shaft?
All of the Chevy steering boxes that I have have the 32 spline shaft in them. Just looking at your picture it looks like the "30" splined part would not fit as the splines look larger.
