Truck almost ready, 2 small fixes
My 84 K10 is nearly road ready after a 2 month partial resto. The temp guage doesn't move and isn't operational. The wiper washer fluid won't spray. Where do I start on these 2?

Re: Truck almost ready, 2 small fixes
Pull the wire off the sending unit for the temp gauge on the motor and ground it to the block. If your gauge swings all the way to the hot side then your gauge is good but the sending unit is bad.
On the wiper washer confirm the pump has power to it, then check to see if the hose is submerged and follow the spray lines from the bottle to the nozzles and make sure they're all good. Sometimes the nozzles get crap in them. Use a little pin to clean them. |

Re: Truck almost ready, 2 small fixes
The temp guage sits at just past 260 when cold. Once the truck warms up, it moves to about 3:30 on a clock. So it is working, it is just way off.
The wipers, I took tip cleaners and cleaned out the spray nozzles, and still nothing. I will try to remove the hoses and see if they are open next. Posted via Mobile Device
