best sheet metal repair parts?

Hi,
I need to repair both cab corners. The repair panel I got from a reputable vendor has two problems. The bottom lip does not curl under at 90 degrees. The space between the rocker panel and cab corner has a angle cut to it instead of straight.

Where can I get good quality sheet metal repro parts?

Thanks
zetan

Re: best sheet metal repair parts?

Classic parts has been the best in my experience. I was NOT impressed with LMC, some of their parts were ok but I actually couldn't use a few because they were poorly made. Mark-K makes some nice tailgates/hidden tail gate latches. Bottom line is, they are all aftermarket parts, some are good and some are horrible. Almost all of them require you to make them fit by trimming etc.
Hope that helps but I personally wouldn't suggest LMC.

So far, so good, at having decent parts from Top Banana Auto Parts.

As mentioned above, there's only a handful of places making parts, so it's just a crap shoot anymore, but LMC seems to be consistent at having the worst.

Re: best sheet metal repair parts?

In my experience, the Tri-Plus (Keyparts) stampings are decent. Thus far, I've purchased and installed their kickpanels, rocker panels, cab corners, front and rear floor pans on both sides, front and rear cab supports on both sides, cab support rail, and front and rear door pillars on both sides. Any part you buy is going to take a little tweaking at the very least to get everything to fit up correctly. If you'd like to see how it all went together, click the link in my sig to view my build thread.

I bought all of my parts from Top Banana, as they quoted me the best shipped price out of six different stores (handily beat LMC's price).
