Holley 4150 advice

Hi everyone as you can see I'm new to the board. It's just incredible the amount of quality information and camaraderie on here.

I'm hoping for a little info on this Holley.

I got this truck a little over a month ago and have just now started to try and get this thing street-able.

One issue I would like deal with right away is the Holley carb on here. The previous owner drove it on the street for a couple years. He doesn't know what kind of cam is in the engine as well as the heads and some other equipment. ( last hour I just found out they are Iron Eagle 74 cc. )

I don't know what the cfm of this carb is for some reason I just can't get the numbers to work on several sites I have tried.

4150 double pump
List is 82571
33V7

Frt meter block 12423

Rear Meter Block 11038-6

Manual secondaries.

I guess my biggest question is can I simply back the linkage off to the rear pump ?? It's crazy to pump this much fuel driving on the street. I did pull the plugs they are the blackest I have ever seen in my life.

I haven't taken the carb off, is there rear jets in the rear block or just a power valve opening.

I'm sure there is a much better Holley to have on here. I remember many, many, moons ago I had a 3310 ( I think ) on a 396 that worked like a dream.

Appreciate any info

Dan
