front suspension options

Ok so ive been trying to figure out what to do with my 49 chevy i did a solid 4x4 axle swap on it. now its getting closer for me to sell the 235 and tranny and get the 4bt diesel im putting in. now for my question, what should i do for a front suspension. will my leaf springs handle it or do i need to convert my setup to a coil suspension. I will not be doing anything extreme, just some light mudding and mostly pavement driving. here is how it sets before school started up and working on the truck got put on the back burner
