frame bracket help
Just picked up a 1967 shortbed project and noticed it is missing a bracket on the frame for the bed. I can't find any replacement frame brackets for sale. This is a pic of the bracket that is missing. Can anyone tell me what it is called.

Re: frame bracket help
These come up in the for sale section when people part out frames(you need to be a paying member to buy and sell.) If you are handy and have a welder they are not that hard to make. Mine were rusted through so i used them as a pattern and made then out of a piece of angle iron and plate. You wouldn't even notice they weren't stock at a quick glance. There is also a website that sells these as well as the cab mounts i think but i can't remember the name of the company off the top of my head.

Re: frame bracket help
I am not going to be much help on the frame mounts, but would like to welcome you to the forum....might check around the used parts for sale or your local pick and pull yard...
