454 mounting to 700r4 in k10 4x4

Help!!! Am replacing a 305 in my k10 4x4 with a 454. The old 305 had a triangle bracket sandwiched between block and mount with a bar down to the 700r4. These triangular brackets will not sandwich between mount and 454 block. Questions:
Are these support (?) bars necessary with the 454?
Are there different brackets used on the 454? If so, where?
Thanks in advance guys.

You don't need em but its good to have some kind of support for sake of tranny mounts. Wouldn't hurt to fabricate something
