1971 GMC Sierra Grande K25
A few weeks ago I found the truck I wanted around 100 miles from home. I bought a 1971 GMC Sierra Grande K25 with the intentions of putting a ls motor/over drive trans in it. I bought the truck running and driving and drove it home without issue. I wanted a 4x4 3/4 ton with ac and I found one that was fairly clean. Over all I want the truck to end up being a clean daily driver. The truck came with dana 44/dana 60 axles, 350/sm465/205 drive train, wood bed, ect.
Plan:
Just curious, whats a fairly clean, running and driving k25 worth? |

The original 350 & its replacement. Heres the complete 6.0/4l80e out of a 2005 2500HD Silverado I picked up last week for $900

Nice start. I'll be watching this cause if my 355 ever blows in my 4x4 I'd love to put an LS in it's place.

Re: 1971 GMC Sierra Grande K25
I've been busy the past week so haven't messed with it. I did however receive my t case and t case adapter back from the machine shop this week! I'll be mocking up the motor/Trans/t case soon then the frame will be getting blasted.
