wow that is some kick ass paint. I like the vent windows though just like I like the dumbo mirrors. I'd never get rid of them.

I hate my vent windows. I wish there was a simple way to get the one piece widow for our trucks. If I remember right there is no kit for it on the market...sorta hard to believe.

Vintage Glass is working on a kit for our trucks. They actually had one, but when they tested it the glass did not fit good. Something about the angle was off. Anyway, the guy said that it would be a complete kit with all new rubber and everything. The price he told me was around $400-$500. It is still in early development stages though.

I just wonder how the 88+ glass would fit in our trucks. Just a thought. I am not sure how the angle is nor the height difference though.

Yeah , Ryan , you're right.
I drive most of the time with my window down & that vent window open , so you don't get all that disturbing air in your face.

I don't like nowadays cars just for this , you can't drive them at 75 MPH on the highway with the window down. But I can with my truck

I like vent windows. I just dont like mine. I bought it brand new and it is a piece of crap. The handle will fall off and the rubber sticks to the class when I open it so I dont use it very often cause its too much work to open. Plus, I like the sleekness of not having one and thats also why I traded out my sliding rear glass for a smoothie.

i like having the vent windows there for the reasons baron said and also if you happen to lock your keys in your truck which ive done a few times and im sure others here have as well-they come in handy as there real easy to pry open-ive used everything from coat hangers to wire to a pocket knife-yes a pocket knife to open the vent window to get my keys out.doesnt take but a few minutes mostly and beats waiting for a locksmith plus its free most of the time.also i used to be all about having a sliding rear window in my trucks but after having two of them broke into through the sliders and seeing how much smoother they look with a straight glass back window i now will say i like the glass windows better
