My 52' 7 window project
Here are some shots from my project. I bought it as a work in progress. The original fabricator did the cab mods and frame work, then sold it to the guy I bought it from. He left it setting outside for 7 years with no glass in it or cover. Rotted out the door bottoms on all 4 doors. The mods are based on a 94 blazer 4x4 , I has the floor pan, cowl and drive train from the blazer. It has a vortec 4.3 and 700r4 ,cruise, abs and 4x4 still . When I bought it I redid the back half with 2x4 tube, added truck arm suspension with air bags.I swapped out the blazer rear end for a 8.8 from a 99 town car. I'm still not sure if I like the look of the s10 windshield and how the cowl looks . I'm hoping it will look better with a Fulton Visor . I still have lots of work to do!![IMG][/IMG]

Re: My 52' 7 window project
the s10 windshield doesn't look right. Too long and square, doesn't go with all the curves of the 52.
going to look good when finished |

Re: My 52' 7 window project
I'm hoping it will look better with the visor covering up the top of the windshield. I'm thinking of extending the back edge of the hood to fill in the cowl area . It would hide the wipers and make the hood look even across the cowl

Re: My 52' 7 window project
yes a visor should work well and still look correct.
will the hood mod your talking about make it a cowl induction hood(full length) apart from the windscreen mod the original owners mod are quite good and look factory, shame the guy you bought it of left it out in the weather all those years. |
