Re: Just bought a 68 swb anniversary 4x4

A 4x4 SWB 50th anniversary. I have no idea what production numbers are but I think it's safe to say there aren't a lot of 4x4 short fleet anniversarys.

Re: Just bought a 68 swb anniversary 4x4

Very nice truck! There were 1,449 short fleet 4x4s built in '68. I don't think you'll be able to find production numbers specific for an anniversary truck.

Re: Just bought a 68 swb anniversary 4x4

hmmm... 1,449 of these trucks... probably not more than a couple hundred anniversary golds i would figure. how many have survived with their original paint??? i'm going with 1 until proven otherwise! great find.

Re: Just bought a 68 swb anniversary 4x4

We can only guess on production numbers. No tally on options kept and the 50th anniversary trucks were just options

Re: Just bought a 68 swb anniversary 4x4

I looked all over the internet and I cant even find one picture of a factory SWB 4x4 Anniversary. This must be one very rare truck !!!
Anyone else have any information on this truck.
