Trying to find a previous Build
I am trying to find a Build that was posted a year or more ago. It was swapping in a 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup frame to a Suburban. Maroon paint, done in 30 days or something like that. Anyone remember that one...... and/or link me to a similar one?
I have a 68 Panel, and a '74 K20.... thinking about doing a similar swap. Thanks

If you type the words “pickup frame under a suburban” into the GOOGLE search box at the top of this page, click on the circle in front of "67-72chevytrucks.com and click on the GOOGLE button you will find some info on the subject. Just make sure the thread you are looking at refers to your style of truck. (Hits will include all years) LockDoc

Re: Trying to find a previous Build
I remember that one, but I thought he used a 73-91 suburban frame. I dont remember a whole lot about it other than it was a beaut with sizeable lift and beautiful paint. I thought that was like 3 years ago though.

I think this is the one you are referring to. The member went by the name 'Slick' something. I couldn't find the build thread.
