rear drop springs

I just put 2 1/2" drop spindles on my 70 c10. Im looking to level out the back. I know 4" lowering springs would level it out but can I just put shorter shocks in the back or would I have to relocate them too and do I need an adjustable trac bar? If I have to have a shorter trac bar would just cutting it and welding it back making it shorter work? Ive been told that if I go with a 3" lowering spring I just have to have shorter shocks. Does anybody know what size shocks I would need if I lowered it 3 or 4"? I just want to lower it as much as I can without having to spend more than I have to for now. I will be bagging it in the future.

Re: rear drop springs

If you plan on bagging it in the future,... use drop shocks(for 5"-6" drop springs), rear shock relocators and a LONG adjustable track bar.
