Replacing doors

I have a set of doors I found for my truck at the salvage yard and I am ready to install them. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to take old ones off and install the "new" ones? I have to replace the hinges on drivers side as well. I bought all new weather stripping as well. I will post pictures of my truck when I start this. I just want to gather thoughts from others who have done this already. I am by no means a experienced mechanic, just a driveway mechanic! Lol. I just finished replacing front brake lines, hoses, calipers, and pads. I bought my truck almost 8 yrs ago and I am slooowly rebuilding/restoring as I drive her. She's not my daily driver but I love this truck!
Thanks for any help or links anyone may have

Re: Replacing doors

First off enlist a helper

Second mark the position of everything.

Third. To get your top hinge off you have to go from under the dash an pull the rubber plug where your door switch wires come through

Fourth. Be patient!!

Re: Replacing doors

cant just do a hinge pin change instead of the hinges? that & a new striker will usually get a door shutting nice
