C10 hot rods

Just out of curiosity, has anyone built a true hotrod from a c10 cab or frame? Not a truck slammed to the ground with blacked out tint lights and rims. I have seen the rolling chassis type builds and the engine and rims shining nicely. Lots of exposed frame that has been powder coated too. I was thinking to add a midified cab and custom hood to that with the open wheel concept. Put just a flat bed in the back would be cool to see/build

Re: C10 hot rods

I'm in the early stages of just what your talking about. A '72 Cab on an S10 frame and a 49 bed shortened and narrowed. I'm searching for some fat fenders and running boards, I just want to hide that ugly IFS. Pics at this point would just be of parts laying around the shop. I've got the frame ready for the drive train, and well what a story that is......I bought a 327/350 Turbo from a guy and was suppose to pick it up this week-end. He texted me this afternoon telling me the truck it was in had been stolen, yes I do smell something fishy.....I'm only out $200 but that's not the point, yes I know where he lives and yes he can expect to see me.
