steering column help

Hello. 1968 got myself a new steering column with shifter. the thing is the connections are different. The new column has a flat connection whereas the stock is a half moon connection.do I splice or do I have any other options please help thank you very much.

Any of the 67-'72 parts vendors will have the connection adapter for that.
