More on my plate

As if it isn't enough owning a classic restoration shop and maintaining a fleet of Harleys and Jeeps at home, my wife just had to have another project for me. This one I thought may be of interest to some of you.
235/3 speed already switched over to 12v. Got some rust, but that's what we do for a living. Gotta go through the brakes and the radiator and then she's going to drive it for a while to see where else she wants changes made.
Sorry for the OT vehicle in the second pic, that's my POS shop truck.

Re: More on my plate

No need to apologize for the cool 60's F100. It doesn't seem they're as appreciated as '60-'66 Chevys but they can be made to look great.

Nice looking panel. Are the blue parts set in stone? I guess I'd like it better if the truck were blue and the grill were white, but hey that's why they say opinions are like Aholes! Lol

Looks to be in nice complete condition.

Re: More on my plate

No, the truck came this way. Actually my wife wants any blue on the truck gone...now!!

Current plans(as of this weekend, anyway)are hot rod satin black, with my shop's logo in gold. Same as my business cards, except on the cards, the black is shiny.
Brakes, wheels and tires come first, then a radiator. After that will probably come rust repair and paint.

The old Ford needs some love. It's already got a 302/C6 drivetrain, but it needs cab corners and a patch near the left front cab mount on the inside floor. I've been using it as a daily driver as well as to haul the trailer for the shop.

Oh good. Whew, didn't want to insult you by being critical but the current color scheme wasn't all that, to me.

Do you think you'll be going with chrome on the bumpers, grill, etc or will they be sprayed white or off white?

Great panel but chrome 54 grille will put a guy in the poorhouse!

Re: More on my plate

Man, all I want to do right now is get it running and driving. Something hydraulic in the brakes, a new ignition switch, and some rims and tires will go a long way toward exposing this lady's true personality. She'll let me( or my wife) know what she wants.

Re: More on my plate

IMO: The side stripe is fine, but the grill is overbearing.
I have a thing for panels, so I will be looking for your progress reports.(if you find time to do them)
