Does anyone run a non-factory bench seat with shoulder restraints? I was looking for something that has a work truck look to it but has modern shoulder restraints built into the seat.

What got me started on this was for one, wanting shoulder restraints, and two my 2002 silverado has buckets with the restraints built into the seat.

Can anyone post some pictures of non-factory seating used, restraints or not?

If you do a search on here I have seen guys using the newer silverado bench seats and seen a couple in person. Look pretty good but sit a little taller i beleive. Ive got an early 90s seat in my truck and it looks like its factory and most have provisions for the seatbelt to run through.

You can also keep your period-correct seat and buy 3-point belts. Someone will correct me here but I believe all of our trucks came with anchors for shoulder belts.

I like the idea of the 90s bench seat. How does it work in ours?

My truck does have the anchors with factory plugs in them. I'm not a big fan of seat belts so the plugs stay right where they are.

I would think that a high back seat would be a no-go because of how small the cabs are. Would it not hit the window?

Someone had posted about a rear seat out of a 9-15 passenger chevy van (newer) and it looked real good in the photos. It had the seatbelts mounted on the seat.

Bench seats are just THE BOMB. I honestly wish modern trucks and cars came with them.
