DFW Goodguys pics?

I saw the thread in the events section but not much as far as 67-72's go. Anyone want to post some pics? Didn't get to make it out there this year and would like to see what I missed if possible.

Re: DFW Goodguys pics?

I did not take any. Nothing really impressed me enough to take pictures of it. A few nice old trucks and few nice cars. Honestly I was disappointed in the show. The only good thing was spending some one-on-one time with the wifey and resparking her interest in old trucks. Now she is all about getting the '70 on the road.

I was out there Friday, there were a bunch of nice cars, but I don't remember any trucks that really impressed me.

Re: DFW Goodguys pics?

It wasnt the best turnout. i think 2200 or so vehicles but its coming back because i think the economy is getting better again. It was better than it had been the last few years. and it was kinda rainy saturday which might have hurt. But Goodguys is always my favorite show. I took alot more pics of cars and older chevy trucks than i did the 67-72s

There were plenty of nice trucks that had the stock trim and paint but were dropped or bagged on nice wheels but there were only a few trucks that were pic worthy to me. And 2 them i had already seen.
Mikes (67 Cheby) truck. Which is a Jawdropper in person.
And the sweet black 68 on 20s that had all the trim/emblems airbrushed on.
and a couple others i had never seen.

And some sweet squarebodys at the Hills trailer in the vendor section.
I loved that dually

If you only go for the 67-72s than it might of been dissipointing but i Like everything. If i could only go to one show a year it would be Goodguys

I completely agree. That silver 57 was crazy. And that black impala with the 2015hp twin turboed 540 built by mike moran was crazy!!
Like i said. if you like everything than Goodguys is the show to go to. some of the best cars from all over the country are always there.

Re: DFW Goodguys pics?

That was the first time to go. I was there Saturday 1-5. That Black Impala did impress me. There was a late 40's Woody Chrysler that was also real nice. I have been out of the car/truck game for about 10 years so I have not kept up... But I did like watching the Auto-cross. I guess I was expecting more of a swap meet Super Chevy Sunday type thing.

I totally agree.
Some of the top cars in the country built by some of the best builders.
Plus the guys from Hales Speed Shop were there, with a whole herd of badass trucks!
Seeing those trucks alone,... made it worth the trip.
