tired of leaky master cyl.
I have a 78 and a 80,s truck ,one started leaking from the back,so got a re-man one and now the lid leaks in the corner,my other one lid leaks too.He said the re man ones were better as they are original g.m. rebuilt and the new one s are off shore.Are the other ones any good like cpp,wildwood ,thats the only ones I know of.

just bend the wire holding the lid down to hold tighter.did that to mine and no more leak
|

I got one from CPP and it leaks. Called and emailed with no response.

Wish I knew of a MC that's guaranteed not to leak from around the cap.
I've had the truck since '82 and my Dad bought it new. The only MC that didn't leak from around the cap was the original. Even that one eventually leaked from the rear, however I can understand moving parts wearing out.

well I found some rubber strips laying around and lined the inside of the caps outer edges and put the rubber seal back in and seems to work for now
