Hello from NY

Name is Bob. Found this forum while searching for disc brake conversions and figured I would join and say hello.

I just recently purchased this Craigslist find. 69 C10 long bed, V8 auto, 68k. She looked like a grocery getter her whole life. Very very straight body with only a couple rusty spots. Towed it from Maryland back home in NY Sunday and had it on the road Monday. Installed a new voltage regulator, left hand mirror, windshield wipers and a vacuum module for the tranny so far. She goes over the road like a new truck. My plan is to upgrade the tranny to a 700r4, fix the few rusty spots and give it fresh paint. Going to keep the factory color but two tone it white between the moldings.
