NP205 seals/gaskets???
Anyone sell a package with all the seals/gaskets for a NP205 transfer case. I know I can get them from GM, but I have to order each one individually and they aren't the best quality anyway. I don't need any of the bearings. Thanks.

When I did my Rockwell, I just went to a local tranny shop and they had all the seals and some of the gaskets. I think they would definitely have all you need. Should have a complete gasket set, but the seals are probably sold separately. Two for the shifter rods, and I believe three other seals.

Thanks! All on order now.
Now how about the NP205 rubber mounts? Any suggestions there. |

rubber mounts
Dads existing ones were pretty good (reused them). I did find them at the local auto parts store fairly cheap (cost and rubber quality looks), at least the lower 4 piece set between t-case and cross-member. The side mount donut ones I never could find.
I would be interested in a complete rubber set for both bottom and side mounts of good quality for my sub. The Energy Suspension aftermarket poly ones were spendy if I remember ($60+/set comapared to $20 set for lower ones)I also decided against the risk of sending new vibrations and noises up toward the cab.

You can buy a complete NP205 gasket set that comes in a box that looks about like a pizza box from National Drivetrain for about $40.
The part number I used is T172R….like I say it was around $40 bucks for a very comprehensive gasket set. That part number was for a TH350/NP205 combo. (my 78K10 used to be a slush box before I converted in the SM465 4-speed manual) As far as mounts….I would go with the stock ones. I bought a set of those fancy poly...whatever you call’ems and my truck vibrated like crazy so I went back and bought a set of stock style mounts….vibration gone. Just my .02 cents.
