Will I lay frame?
So I'm new to the site as well as air ride and needing some info. I am building a 63 swb fleetside and recently purchased a air ride kit. I know I need to notch the rear but what about the front? I have upgraded to tubular upper control arms on the front but don't know if I will be able to achieve the look I'm going for! Any info will be appreciated.

Unfortunately you will not with the factory crossmember in place. It's lowest point is about 3" below the frame level.

That is a perfect link to check out that Keith posted.
Here is a picture of one using our Pro1 air ride kit, that includes the Porterbuilt Stage 1 front and Stage 2 Basic kit. This is just bags in the front, no control arms. Uses a c-notch out back. In order to lay frame, you will need to go with a drop member, section your cross member, or Z your frame. That just ruined my dream lol thanks for the info! I wish I had the cash to do a drop member but not now. At least I know now what it takes to lay my frame for the future.

Another question I have is about the upper control arms compared to the spindles. I already installed the uppers but will the spindles gain me that much more drop? Here is a pic of where I'm at with cut coils and uppers.

Those look like DJM "drop pocket" lower a-arms.

You need stock lowers or a different brand of tubular lower control arms,...
with drop spindles. DJM control arms are OLD technology. They basically lower the truck by allowing the spring to hang thru the control arm. This will create scrubline issues when combined with drop spindles. Drop spindles with disc brakes will be a better choice, in my opinion.
