what is the difference between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton 4x4 frames,thanks

The section modulus number is slightly different between some 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton frames. I believe that has to do with the elasticity of the steel. In the real world I doubt that makes any noticeable difference.

thanks, just wondering if I could swap out everything from 3/4 ton to 1/2 ton 4x4

That is what I did, no problems yet. It was abused hard for 5 years and the frame help up great.

My cousin's C-20 frame is thicker than my c-10 shortbed. It also has a few more small corner braces on his frame crossmembers and trailing arms than mine.
