Question where is the brake light switch on a 1959 Apache 3100?

the brake light switch on my 1959 Apache went bad and i have a new one to replace it but where are these switches located on the truck?

It mounts on the outside of the floor under the brake pedal arm. Look under the floor mat about six inches down from where the brake pedal goes through the floor. There are two screws about an inch apart and those are what holds the brake light switch in place. It requires two people, or duct tape, to mount the new one.

Still available from NAPA cheaper than aftermarket places too. Make sure the brake pedal has the rubber donut on the firewall side to keep from mashing the switch. On a lot of trucks it disinigrated a long time ago and the switch takes all the return pressure from the pedal arm.
